I'm still at 6k for NaNo. I should be at 16,660 by midnight if I wanna be on a pace to complete it. Oh well, what's 10,000 words over twenty days? 500 words extra a day from here to December, that's what. 2200 words a day. Fuck. Hope my palm pilot keyboard gets here soon so I can type at home. I'm such a closet geek. No, I just type way faster than I write longhand, to the point where I can no longer draft things longhand the way I did through high school. It's computer or nothing for me. I can write 2,000 words in an hour or an hour and a half if I'm on a roll. Not *good* words, mind you, but perhaps it'll get me finished with the novel so I can say I did it, then start my quest for good stories in earnest.

so Matrix 3 sucked. Keanu had all the personality and appeal of a blow-up doll. fuckers. and the play I saw last night sucked too.

still no progress on that thing I'd mentioned re: work. I"m gonna buy Writer's Market this week, I think, along with Dark Tower I the revised version. I'm gonna reread the DT series plus 'Salem's Lot and related short stories before Susannah's Song comes out.


gotta go. andrea'll be in town soon, and I have to get out of work before she does. shower=needed.
