like_a_clownoh yeah -- saw BHT with Richie and my sister. that was the funniest shit -- Jenny says Richie and I were the only ones laughing when Bruce threw his hip out onstage. I think I may go as rest-home Elvis for Halloween, that's how much I liked that movie (and the costume would be easy).
then! saw Kill Bill with Andrea. she's fun and smart, and cute, with a great -- yet not in the least bit snobby -- taste in movies. I like 'er, and when we behave like teenagers, I'm happy. yay.
saw Intolerable Cruelty alone. it's cool; I enjoy that, I'm comfy with solitude, and I get to concentrate on the film more. I was pleasantly surprised -- I thought it was gonna be a bit duller than some of their other stuff, but the Coens wrote a really good movie, aimed at a bit more ... popular? ... audience than, say, "Fargo." (ok, sure, that's pretty popular too, but whatsisface gets ground up in a wood chipper fer chrissake!) Only they would be able to make a romantic comedy so sharp. I mean, a hitman named Wheezy Joe? Dude. Hell yeah.
and I've procrastinated like fuck on work today. I"m behind in gathering quotes, I've wasted over an hour and a half this night web-surfing when I could've been editing, etc etc. ah well. such is life.
