like_a_clownI'm kinda bummed out.
A good friend of mine has been dating someone for the past four months. This person just now informed me of this, because this person was afraid I would freak out. They did not lie, per se, but they dd evade the full answer in a very deceptive manner--which I, a semantics nerd, should have picked up on but for the fact that I never suspected that this friend would try to be evasive or sneaky.
I am upset, but not because of the identity of the person they are dating or anything. I'm upset because I feel like, right now, I can't trust my friend to be straight with me. I hope this passes, and I hope I don't go through all this doubt about everyone.
