The triviality of academia...

like_a_clown...means: what good is studying when you have BEER?
We have five or six people in my apartment. All of us minus John have finals tomorrow. None of us is studying. Each of us has at least a little alcohol in him or her. John just walked out.

When you keep thinking about the wellbeing of someone far away, because it's been abnormally long (relatively, mind you--not actually) since you've spoken to her, does that signify anything impending? I imagine so. especially if you can't concentrate on a final exam because of pleasant thoughts involving this unnamed other person. jesus. this is...odd. can't explain it--that must be why I have been trying so hard at such great length to do so. because I can't do it. aaaaghhghg.
but good. I'm positive that, for the most part, it's good.
