like_a_clownI am not gonna make this a long post, because I have homework to do. Still, I must mention the Travis show.
They played everything I wanted to hear except Baby One More Time. That includes All I Wanna Do Is Rock, most of The Man Who, Indefinitely, Humpty Dumpty Love Song, etc etc etc...and then, as they were leaving, they launched into Back In Black by AC/DC! Fran hit the high notes; Alex (?) nailed the guitar bits; they skipped a couple verses and Fran kind of mumbled the words--it doesn't matter, they had the most fun I think I've ever seen a band have on stage. Fucking fantastic. I wanna move back to LA and get a band together with Ben SO BAD...
hehe. yes, I may appear to be a cynical chin-stroking intellectual, but at heart I'm just a wide-eyed hero-worshipping kid with a cd collection, a guitar, and stars in his eyes.
