but a recommended way to listen to amnesiac.
1) buy the album.
2) wait until 2 A.M.
3) find a beach in I.V., or another suitably desolate (no houses with sand-side fences) beach to sit on/walk on.
4) hit play, with headphones and lotsa volume.
it literally took my breath away at more than one point.
listening to Kid A, I remarked that it crept on me, didn't initially hit me in the guts.
this one hit my guts, brain, and heart with what felt like a battering ram studded with icepicks.
richie has a new favorite.
