today has been full of little things.
I got a lot done, including a haircut and the floor plan for my apartment. But on the bus home from Fantastic Sam's, a woman was crying and shaking her head. Looked so alone...I had no idea what to do, so I didn't.
Brian talks to the news. It's funny...there was a story that revealed that LA has the nation's worst air-quality, and Brian was all grumpy, like "well, DUH." He drives a 1970 Plymouth whose already-huge engine leaks oil and runs terribly inefficiently. Then--not a minute later!--the same woman announced that gas prices were slated to go up to around $3/gallon this summer. Brian expressed low-grade outrage. Does anyone else see the huge break in logic here...?
Not that I dislike my roommate at all. I just use him here as a distilled example by which to explore the inconsistencies of human logic. Hm.
